I have something similar, the problem becomes obvious when you realize how incredibly slow it is one negative at a time.

Our lab bought the Kodak version of these cheap scanners for 110 film. Gives an OK scan and even though it is slow it's still faster than using a flatbed.

Tried one of my 35mm negs on it......holy cow does that look like crap.

My flatbed does 10-35mm negs at once or 6 slides. Even then it took me months to do a basic scan on all of them.

Can't even think about doing all that one at a time.
