Been awhile since I've used HSS, it's easy to forget things if you don't use them. 100mm, 1/8000, F/9, ISO 400. Had I had a little more distance between the flower and the leaves, or used a snoot on the flash, I could have taken the background completely black, but I liked the context that the foliage provided. Using HSS lets you get the aperture higher without increasing the ISO, and the ability to freeze movement..
