Uh, the missing link? Um, small duck going after large carnivorous worm? Is there a coffee stand nearby so at least people can enjoy a nice cup of joe while trying to figure it out?

the one on the left is the body of the duck, with the head cut and the one on the right is the head and neck of the duck.

that's it, we solved the mistery !!!

Maybe, it's the artist's commentary of the angst of modern existence: the inevitable dichotomy between man's id and ego; the frustrations of the impossibility of adequately blending the spirit with the soul.

There's a lot of that stuff going on these days. Then again, maybe it's really just the artist's attempt to get people to go: "Huh?"
