Hummer shots

Here are a few shots of my new yard bird Broad-Billed Humming bird. Picked up on his pattern so I have been out waiting for him. Also been hosing down the feeder and the small desert willow next to it so he can drink some fresh water. Pic #1 is him drinking off the tree. C&C welcomed. Not really digging the crop on 1 or 3 should probably have just brought them in more.

For some reason, I cannot see photos 2 or 4.
Good job catching the little guys, they aren't easy to shoot at all, but I do agree with your own thoughts on #1 and 3 - the way you have cropped them doesn't do anything for the overall images.

They do feel grainy to me as well. Shooting at 400iso shout I be changing to 200 or so?

Depends on your camera, it's better to get a grainy shot at high speed than a noiseless image with the hummingbird as a blur. But generally have the ISO as low as conditions allow.
