Just have a little time to test out my new lens. Here are few hummie shots at the local park. I was there a little late and only catch a few minutes in the area before the sunset... C&Cs are welcome!!!

Santa arrived early this year. He gave me a Sigma 120-300mm Sport. These shots were taken with Sigma TC 1.4X. I am going to purchase the 2X if I see some deals.

Thanks. I do have the usb dock but I only have time to adjust the focus distance indoor at night... the lens is fairly accurate outta box according to my eyes... I did setup for the quick focus and accurate focus modes... The quick focus is quick but missed focus a few times when I used it today... I guess I need to play around with the lens some more...

very nice, yeah, I find many higher end lenses are really good out of the box, but when you add TC's things get off course pretty easily. how well does the OS tuning work with the dock? I've got the dock too, but the only lens I have that I can use it on is the 35 1.4 A, so I don't get to play with OS or zoom af settings and such....I almost bid on a 120-300 sport on ebay, I probably should have it went for like 2400 or 2500 or something like that.

Im now thinking of trading my 70-200 out for this. Does anyone know if you can mount modified nikon teleconverters to it?

Matt, I've been wondering that as well. I would like to have a 1.7x. If you want to send me one, I can test it and send it back.. The sigmas work pretty good and you can find them in low to mid 100 range..
