I bought a scanner today

My HP all-in-one started freezing on a scan but still prints documents, so I went & bought a scanner on after Christmas sale. I must say, after only one scan I am favourably impressed. This is a scan of one of my old photos reduced for the web.

You won't be sorry for buying one as I have 2 and just love them. They have paid for themselves time and time again. I love that photo above.

That is a grocery store print I scanned.

The scanner is a Canon LiDE 700F that cost me 100C$ plus taxes. It will copy 35mm film negatives.

I had (still have it, just no longer in use) a Canon LiDE scanner. I forget what the model number was... Not as good as yours (half the price and no negative scanning ability), but for documents I was impressed by it. They seem to be good scanners.

That looks pretty good for a scan of a print.

Back in the day, you could get print made anywhere.

(Sounds funny now, but it's pretty much true.)
