Agreed!! It has it's aesthetic value. I don't think noise has seen its full potential in modern photography yet.

Good idea. Thanks for the advice.
I tried it out on the jeans.. there's nothing I could do for the curtain though. Thats the drawback of noisy images.. really hard to edit.

Well I'll take that as a compliment. Since it was shot with a D90 at ISO 6400 brought up from a 2 stop under exposure. Looking like a cell phone picture is good for what some of the shots from this show turned out like

I like the pic. Just has that quality. Not a bad thing. i have played in bands and this shot is reality. It reminds me of those days.

That's what I liked about it.. I felt like it told the story of them playing rather than just showing them playing. If you know what I mean.

Are you using a Mac? Raw Photo Processor (RPP) does a really good job handling noise. It won't decrease the noise, but it will make it look a little more attractive.

I am using a Mac. I just looked into it. It seems free.. Is it completely free? Also, do you use the Lightroom plugin?
