After posting her photos last night for her, I got to thinking I needed to edit and post some of the photos I took yesterday in an attempt to catch up or keep even with her. So, without further to do here we go:

#1 I like the look of the water..looks like it would very refreshing to jump into...
#2 looks out of focus
#3 not composed correctly. keep the 1/3's rule in mind. especially with landscape shots
#4 HARSH lighting >_<

Thanks for the critique.

#1 is my favorite. That water is Ice Cold from Snow Melt, so it would take your breath away very quickly!

#2 isn't out of focus, it is because the water is moving and the DOF I used kills the foreground focus. Or at least that's what I think.
#3 should have had the bank on the other side up just a bit, so you're right, my rule of 1/3rds. is off a tiny bit. I took the photo by setting the camera on the toe of my shoe and pressing the shutter button.

So as you can see, it isn't too bad after all.

#4. Was an intentional use of the Harsh light because it was illuminating the orange in the old rotten stump and making it look like it was on fire. Otherwise I would have passed on the shot too.

That's the Great Part of Photography! Everyone sees a photo differently and has their own opinions.
