What's new

I crack myself up ....... AKA fun with photoshop and a fat guy.

Tony Jaro's ring a bell?

Nope, never been there...... but Google told me what I need to know after that piece of the puzzle.

Personally I'm not into the sweet flavored drinks. The most flavor I ever put in my drinks is either ice or an olive. :D

Yup. The only thing that belongs in good Scotch is more Scotch.

I like the shot. Years ago when I had a home recording studio (small) I did a similar shot with film. Sometimes it's good to just have some fun with your camera.

I keep coming back to this picture, is there a joke I don't get? I see nothing wrong with the photo and I realize it's meant to be funny so I think I don't get it!

Nope. Nothing to "get"... just me being bored, playing with OCF and photoshop.

Okay phew, I thought that went over my head lol.

I laughed. You should do a poker scene next time...that way you can atleast have your gear inside

You need to learn how to hold the Martini glass. You are supposed to stick your pinky out.

I was thinking about that exact thing too......

Wanted to get the "through the window" shot first..... Next with be the poker scene. the options really are unlimited.

My understanding is (possibly incorrect) that as long as all the settings, lighting and capera placement stay identical, this type of photo is a breeze. Everything else is just a matter of having fun.

Yeah, I should probably stick to whiskey.

Same here, I'm a brandy or whiskey guy if I do drink.

I don't really drink though. I like the other type of greenies!

Should have changed clothes ;)

Thought about it...... Camera was (by necessity) outside, very visible, in South Minneapolis. Didn't want to turn my back on it for a second.

Next attempt I will have an "assisstant" stand guard, and I will change clothes. There might even be 3 or 4 of me in the next one. :D

But hey, At least I changed drinks, right?

Be sure to lower the blinds when you do.

Loved the pics. Looks like you had some fun, which is what it's all about right? The next set you should have yourself arguing with yourself, or yourself in a headlock... but I digress.

Apparently these kinds of photos commonly use alcohol as a muse :o! Did something similar, it gets tricky because they really need to interact on some level in order to make it look realistic. Usually I don't post images in other people's threads but I felt this was a good example of how to execute multiple shots that use interaction to convey a sense of reality. I used pieces of paper taped where I wanted to get the positioning right, then just guess n' checked lol. Very technical, I know. A good spot to take note of is the version of me laying down hanging onto the bottle, the hair touches the shoe. Obviously this couldn't really happen so you have to create shading to make it look realistic.
