I did it!!

Those pictures are fantastic, i tryed the same thing, not nearly as sophisticated, with 2 bits of aluminum foil as the trigger and in a cardboard box instead of a dark room but i couldnt get the flash time low enough, what sort of exposure length is your flash giving and how do you chose a flash with a fast flash time?

the slug is totally motion blurred etc so i gave up on the project, any ideas on how to get going again?
