This is a rather unique landscape in southern Taiwan, just about 40min from my grandparents' town. The land itself is made of very loose and dry soil and nicked named the "moon world". The main vegetation that strives on this soil is bamboo, therefore you can see the strains of green. This place is also unique for the moisture that builds up in the night, making it a very popular spot for sunrise photography.

I don't have much to say

beautiful

I don't know either but I like the layering.

Wow those are stunning pictures, looks like a really incredible place

Great set! LOVE 2 and 5, both are delicious!

Very nice; I especially like #3! Have your tried any panoramas? This scene looks tailor-made for them.

Not at this spot because the viewing angle is actually only about 150 degrees. Also, there wasn't anything interesting beyond what my 20mm could take. Most of the interesting shots are zoomed in close ups to capture the layering effect. I am not sure if this is the kind of place that will give you vastly different images with each sunrise, but I have a feeling that it will get boring quickly after a few visits. I will definitely make revisits in the future when I see my grandparents again.

Also, the last photo was taken from another spot that over looks the same area from a different height and direction. I will try this place again too when I get the chance.

Very nice stuff! My faves are #3 AND #6. What an awesome location and microclimate!

I love the colors and "layered" look of the first image. Looks like a beautiful spot.

Love the layering! #2, 3, 6 are really nice. If you crop to the right half of #2, I can see it as a vertical banner, printed large.

Great images. The layered, magnified view of 06 is wonderful!
