What's new

I dunno... I just... I dunno... lol

I think this is a great candid. It's actually nice on several levels.

I love the blown-out, grossly over-exposed yellow balloons and the bare, bald white patch where one of the frogs should be. And that sweet watermark with the word ENGINEERING in all-caps is pretty sweet too! I'm surprised it has not generated seven or eight pages of commentary about how bad the exposure and white balance are, like the recent tea-party images SabrinaO put up.

omfg...

Wow... I never noticed any of that. I just kind of saw it, loved it, lined it up that way and shot it. Maybe I shouldn't admit that, but... it's kinda interesting because I wonder how much of it was subconscious framing, how much of it was me just "getting it", and how much of it was just pure absolute luck.

Oddly... I have a newfound respect for my own picture. Thanks for writing that up, Bitter.

Oh, and BTW, on the boob part. omfg... you're SO right, too... holy crap. I may just have to frame this one. :lol::lol::lol::lol:

hahaha... *this* is the Derrel I know and love.

Derrel...

1. The subject is properly exposed, yes? I think you're aware of the limited dynamic range of cameras, yes?
2. The white balance is correct. It's a carny. Those trailers have all kinds of hiedeous lighting and such. It kinda hurts the eyes, I know... but it is as it was at the scene, and yes... all my monitors (all of them!) are color calibrated. :)
