Welcome to the forum. I like the angle of the crop. It seems very sad and provokes emotion for sure. Overall I think it is a great image!

On the technical side, it probably could use a touch more DOF which would sharpen things up a bit (maybe it is web compression but I would like to see a little more sharpness in the whiskers). I Personally would have shot it at F8 and kept the ISO at 400.
