Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Wedding photography is really difficult! Trying to capture that special moment amongst a crowd all armed with camera, flashes firing. I shot 793 frames today in ~6hrs. Maybe I got a few decent shots. Not happy with my results.I'll post a few of the best one here as time allows. Feel free to offer advice in any form you so desire.

All shot with D700, 24-70 and SB-800 mounted on camera.

Was it your first wedding shoot? The very idea scares the hell out of me... screw that one up and you're toast. The shot you posted looks pretty good IMHO, albeit perhaps a little over-saturated? Maybe cropped in a little too tight, but that's very subjective. Hey, keep at it... being a good wedding photog is a valuable, profitable skill and there will always be a demand for it.

First event where I was compensated, yeah but thankfully I wasn't a sole recorder of the event. Was an engagement party actually. Traditional meeting of the families, a lot of fun! The couple was really very sweet and I sure hope they find value in the shots I contributed.

The Groom to be.

Now that one, I really like. I always say a photo is not successful unless it invokes an emotion in the viewer. This does it well and tells a story, too. Well done.
(But still... did you crank up the saturation a lot, or was that vest really that bright of a pink? lol)

It really was that bright a pink. The Young lady was wearing (you'll see as I get to it) the traditional Ao Dai (pronounced Ou Yai) of pink and gold.

In the first image, their skin tone comes across green. A lot greener than the other shots imo.

The ring photo is something they are going to cherrish for a lifetime... And I do agree that it seems slightly greenish or so in the first photo, but these photos are pretty good and you should be happy with it :)

Thanks!

Yeah, the color is a bit off on the first one, will need to o back and take another shot at that.

I really love your photos, I am not a fan of using a flash but these look good. I like the bright colours.

Thank you. Flash was a given with the dark rooms inside and harsh outdoor lighting.

Really I made every mistake but I did/am learning from them. I couldn't move around during the ceremony, I would have loved to get just a little more of her right eye in this shot.

I think you did really well for a first wedding shoot [not that I have ever done one]. I have seen things so awful it makes me want to visit the "photographer" and take their equipment.
Believe me, I use Facebook regularly :meh:

well considering I shot 800 frames :D

I replaced the first photo after re-editing the color.
