Cool. Is the curving distortion due to a wide angle lens or is it because you were moving and the way a focal plane shutter works?
 
I'm amazed how sharp those reflections can be. One guy posted a reflection from the side once and it looked great. Only the windows acted as a mirror to.

Where the tree overlaps the monument (I won't comment on it ;)) it looks slightly odd. It's just a trick of the light, I know.

yes it was a reflection in the rear window of a SUV. thanks guys.

cruzin - i do love this monument, but my favorite is the Lincoln Memorial :wink: i have yet to take an image of it worthy of sharing. maybe one day.

I really like it but it makes my neck sore I keep tilting my get to get more of the details! Nice work! Keep thinking outside of the box!
