Quick self portrait after the first week back at school. I hope you guys/girls like my photo. I thought of the idea and went with it. Going to start a project 52 late and here is the first week. I tried to make everything pure white the best I could but here are the results. Usually it looks pure white on my computer (MBP 15" late 2011) and then I get on a microsoft or dell computer and some spots aren't pure white. Hopefully I address that in the amount of post I did.

Shoot it without the logo shirt and you have a good stock shot.

Dig the lighting, but the photoshopped in books/pens aren't really believable. At least the way I see it, looks like you are trying to get the "screw this, throwing things into air" look.

that is what I was going for but the shot is obviously a composite and the pens/lighting was off for pure white.. my macbook it looks clean as ever. Perfectly pure white. May have to re photoshop it after I check it out on another monitor


EDIT: I always took a shot of the pens/books separate from me.

I think the coloring and lighting of them is fine, it's the positioning of them + number of them. If one were to throw all those things in the air, they wouldn't be so nicely separated, ya know?

Yeah I had them scattered in PS but I didn't like the way they looked. but I understand where you are coming from and I'll agree to disagree.

Psshh. I wish she would clean my room for me. It was a mess because I was trying to take this photo as well as get ready for that night's adventure.

As for the remote! ahhh you caught me! I was gonna photoshop it out too! but I figured I would just leave it. It's somewhat subtle and it's just for my newly started project 52 so I wasn't too concerned about it.

The expression on the face is a little strange, I really like the idea! You're quite creative. Colors are very nice, you showed others a helpful technique!
