I hate saying goodbye.

I really really truly honestly do.

I said goodbye to Joe at 11:30 this morning, when he left for work. I said goodbye to Sky just a few minutes ago. I'll be leaving to go catch my plane in about 15 minutes.

I don't WANT TO!

Why do goodbyes have to be so difficult?

Last night was an incredibly sucktastic night. Today probably isn't going to shape up to be much better.

Do me a favor and send a prayer up to the car repair gods, will you?

So, it turns out, I shouldn't have driven my car home last night.

At least, if the initial guess the mechanic made was correct, which is likely.

I have no idea what other choice I had though. It was the middle of the night...I had no money....and no one to drive to pick me up. There is NO way in hell I could have afforded to have my car towed two hours away.

I have no clue what I should have done in that situation. None at all.
