I called B&H this morning.. and was told they probably wouldn't have them in stock for two to three months.. got on thier list. Called Adorama.. got on thier list...... now just waiting. Manahiem... if you have better contacts than I do, I would love it if you would share! Got the cash.. just need to find one!

If you got the cash, I have a suggestion for you. Fly to Tokyo Japan, find the biggest camera store in the city and just wait there. With a little luck, you may be just the first person in line.

3. cgi- nope, no better contacts. I just found the link to the pre-order on the nikon rumors site (they didn't seem to have it in their search engine yet) I wonder what number in line I'm on there. I'm so irked that B&H didn't have a pre-order. I would have loved to give them the business. Adorama is a great place, too, but b/h is my preference and they always get stuff to me next day. (probably just because I'm close)
4. And yup, will absolutely let you all know what I think when I get it, and I'll be sure to post some pictures of the ceiling fan and my cat.
