I love it! I am upgrading equipment as I am starting to get paid better for my pics. I figured I would spend the first budget on the glass. I have never paid so much for a lens however now I see why it was worth it. It is so smooth and quick. I shoot on Daytona Beach most days and shot family photos for tourist and I also shot for stock agencies. I had been using a 70-200 lens. So with family shots I would have to get way back to take the shot. I also now have a better telephoto range for the long beach shots. I needed one main lens because obviously I wasn't going to do a lens change on the beach and get a grain of sand inside. The glass on this lens is so clear. I always thought my other lens was clear until I got this. It is heavy but that's a sign of being solid and the better optics. Thanks for those that suggested getting a great lens first then work on upgrading my 40D. It was a great investment.
