Those cool reflections you see on those big lenses are stops of light you're losing that will never make it to the sensor.

There are some pretty cool things in the video. Still, I wanna' see a dubstep version of it. As well as a death metal version for mishele!

Nano-crystal coating is a big advancement, as is the development of the new HRI and Super-ED glass technologies. Nikon **invented** ED glass before any other manufacturer had it, decades ago now. Now we've moved to a new phase with the Super-ED glass, and nano-coating and easily-replicated, almost perfect moulded glass aspherical designs, instead of the complicated hand-polished aspherical technology that used to make aspherical element designs only available in uber-costly lenses.

The good lenses of today are better than they ever were. Nikon's new G-series lenses really look pretty when group together they way they did in that video's entry and closing segments. It struck me that the G-series is close to being completed.
