Photos NOT OK to edit
I'm looking for some type of macro or focusing lens for my camera that's about $200. I found a few but don't know if they will work with my Nikon d3000.

heres what I found so far...
nikon af-s dx nikkor 35mm f/1.8g

sigma 50-200mm f/4-5.6 dc ps hsm compact telephoto zoom lens

Olympus 35mm zuiko digital f/3.5 macro lens.

any reviews, suggestions or advice would be really helpful!

Thanks in advance.

The top two are not macro, but should work on your camera. The bottom one I know nothing about but would be supprised if it worked on your camera.

The Olympus lens won't mount on a Nikon camera without an adapter.

Many 3rd party lens makers use the worg Macro as a marketing term, rather than a true indication a lens has an actual macro capability.

You have 3 options for doing macro photography:
  1. a macro lens
  2. extention tubes
  3. macro (close up) filters
These are Nikon's current macro lenses:
Macro Lenses | Micro Lenses | Autofocus Lenses by Nikon

Here is a set of 3rd party extension tubes for Nikon mount camera's and lenses: Kenko Auto Extension Tube Set DG for Nikon Lens AEXTUBEDGN B&H

a chinese brand : Zeikos AF Macro Extension Tube Set - 12mm, 20mm, and ZE-CVAFN

Close up filters: close up filters
