I need help fast!

I have been asked to take pictures for a large group of people. I will need to give them proof cds and I have looked everywhere for the software that will allow me to burn a cd slideshow that has security controls such as read-only and will expire after so many days.

Don't bother just resize them to 512 or 600 pixels wide and put a watermark on them. They have no chance of actually printing a photo like that.

I have never heard of an expiry control which hasn't somehow been very easily circumvented.

You don't think that is too time consuming when each person gets 15-25 proofs each?

create an action to resize to 600 pixels (max length/width) and to add a watermark. 2 or 3 mins to create the action and then do a batch run to apply it to every image.

Does not take long at all.

Yeah stuff doing it manually! There's batch operations for this kind of thing in pretty much every graphics program out there.

ProShow Gold, gives you the option to allow a specific 'time' for viewing a slideshow before it expires.
