I need some help with focusing on a D200

Thats good of you Mike, I'm at home this weekend so might just get time to look through the little book myself.

I was just reading that there is a more in depth info on the CD.

I got some stuff to sort this weekend so I'll try to fit it in

OK a little humble pie is needed for me

Digital flower was correct, read the manual.

Mike, I have found why it didn't lock - I had it set to continuous on the front switch.

I had been playing with the focus areas and stuff. What I needed to to do was switch the focus to single 'S' from 'C'. Now it I get focus and lock on the trigger without the 2 button affair.

I got this from a page in the manual talking about the 'S' mode focus.

Can I get any ice cream with that?
