I shot these with my inexpensive Olympus 40-150 lens @ about 100mm.

Derrel, the critters around here have developed a taste for spicy food.

100mm? Wow, unless that's a serious crop, you were more dedicated to that photo than I would have been!
Last thing I need is to try to get that smell out of a camera!!

No cropping. I was about 10-12 feet away. Skunks are OK as long as you do not startle them or make them feel threatened. I make sure the critter knows I am there & then approach slowly. They keep an eye on me & move off if I get to close for comfort.
