Haha! I've got a groom who is "working in the UK", who can't be bothered with a contract, but wants to send me a check pronto before his wedding next month. LOL. Just a guess but the check will be made out for a grand more than the job.

My dad actually believed one of those scams. It was some person with some really rare, unheard of esophageal cancer who was dying and wanted to donate their millions to charity but couldn't find anyone they trusted to help them. They would trust a random stranger though! LOL!
My dad ended up getting a check for 800,000 or something like that! I called the bank (since I had to prove it was a scam) and the check was real!!!! But, had been cashed 3 years earlier!!

I actually won the lottery in 2006. Not much - 50,00 - but enough!
