Very nice shots of the hawk. #3 is outstanding!

CC, great shots. I love the last one - needs some kind of a caption to complete it, though.

You know, something like "What are you lookin' at?"

Great set photos really like photo no.2

Well, it was obvious that the hawk was well aware of your presence. And none too sure of your intentions. Great images, as always.

nice set, Really like 3, great clarity.

Okay, Kris, that's just RIDICULOUS! HOW do you get that close without them flying off? I do the whole take pictures, wait, take another step, take another picture--but they *always* take off before I ever get close enough for a really decent shot.

#2 and 3 are both fantastic--even at 500mm, you must have been uber-close!

EDIT: P.S. For the record, I've never seen a single Osprey shot from you that "bored" me... :D

Sharon, his trick is that he dresses up as a rabbit, so he's either potential food, or not a threat. Did you notice that in most of his shots, the bird is looking VERY intently in his direction? Probably sizing up whether it can fly off with "this" particular rabbit.

Sorry, Kris - just being a little envious of how close you do manage to get to your "target".

Oh wow. I love #3. Great shot!
