I would like to invite those of you with Firefox...

...to StumbleUpon!!! If you haven't heard of it, I will explain it. It's a firefox extension...a little toolbar on the top of your page. When you sign up, you click off all your hobbies and interests, then, you click the 'Stumble!' button on the toolbar, and it takes you to a random website that is within your hobbies and interests. There is an "I like it" and a "not for me" button, and you can click them to rate a page good or bad (you don't have to, though). Any webpage you are on, you can rate good or bad, and when you rate one good, it is automatically shared with others that have the same interests...it gets put in their 'stumble' rotation.

So...besides it just being really cool and lots of fun, I thought it would be a great way to get more traffic to the forum!!! The more people that are on TPF and rating it 'good' the more stumblers will see it! So...how bout it?

If you are interested, pm me your email addy and I'll invite you, or just google 'Stumble Upon" or Firefox Stumble Upon" or something, and you should find it!

Once you have it installed, it just takes one click while you are on a TPF page to say "I like it"

Wow that's so cool. I was just wishing the other day there was something like this - coz I get bored and never know what to search for.

Stumbleupon is probbaly my favorite plugin for firefox. I ended up back with IE for various reasons but keep FF around just to cruise stumblepon when I am bored.

Yep, I've seen that one. There are LOTS of awesome photography links that you'll find...PS tutorials, dozens of galleries of different kinds...a few forums that I've already heard of (which is why we all need to "I like it" to TPF, so that one will get up there!)...just tons of cool stuff. I wish I would have had Stumble Upon when I first started with Photography.
