Ibis in New Mexico.

Two shots from the Ojitio wilderness. A pod that has Ibis.

I personally have never seen them in this area.

They hunt them quite regularly near my home town. You can see them from the highway between Alamogordo and Las Cruces quite a bit as well.

Given I live in Placitas, I took a drive out to San Ysidro and to the Ojito Wilderness.

I cannot get over the fact that the Ibis was out there.
Ive seen a lot of diff. critters out near Cabezon, but a lot of them are the typical stuff.
I saw Abe when I went out to the hills near the Floridas back ion 94. But none from then on.
