The canals are frozen over and I've been indoors with the flue for a week. Just my luck...

Anyway. I felt better today so I went out for a little walk. This is 200 meters from my house.

Nice. I like the way the pilons lead my eye into the shot, and the look of the frozen water.

It's a shame the sky wasn't a bit more blue (I know that's asking a lot, as we've had continual grey skies here too)

Aou you show here, why i have no idea, to have a small tour to amsterdam, its not that far away from here. here we have also the frozen canals. Oh since Friday the ELBE is closed for all Shipment.
