One would think, that winters should be warmer. But apparently weather is not reading reports on climate.
Not, that I didn't see it before, but usually very locally, few square kilometers, not a whole country.
This one is for you Leonore. Not, that I don't like winter, but that was to destructive.

I'm sorry about the destruction. I've been through more than my share of power outages and been stuck on the side of the road during winter storms.

But I'm just better equipped to deal with the problems that winter brings than I am to handle the problems that summer brings.

Winter in your picture is pretty, sunny. Such I like to. The tree, you see in my shot doesn't exist anymore. Together with hundreds others.

We lost a lot of trees last winter too. Down here we've also had a very rainy summer, so there are a few more trees gone because of thunderstorms.

You are somewhere around New York, right ?

Yup. Suburbs of the city.
