ICL Chemical Plant South St. Louis

I drive by the ICL plant pretty regularly and have come close a couple times to grabbing a snap. Today's rainy sky finally coaxed me into pulling over and walking across the street. Fuji X-T2 w/18-55mm

Kinda close to where I live now. I bought an old house (built in 1891) in Dutchtown on Oregan Ave.

Nice. Some freak at these old plants but--operable or not--the plumbing alone is shot-worthy. Need to get down to Hamilton, ON to shoot the remaining steelworks. Most of the Toronto lakeside plants/elevators/tank farms fell to condo developers.

I pass it often because one of my mini orchard lots is on the bluff overlooking the plant -- Michigan and Espenschied in the Patch neighborhood.
