Icy Times

Some images from the storm system earlier this week... Some great sized icicles that are even longer now. My pine tree that is covered in ice/snow and a branch that is holding as much ice as it probably can.

Cool. It really is ICE!
We would (rarely but at times) find our trees covered in SNOW, but we have only once had that phenomenon of iced-in plants... something similar had been forecast for New Years Eve but never happened ... thaw was too strong, the air become too warm within only hours for that to happen.

Of this little series, I like the last two best, the close-ups!
