What's new

I'd like to thank the academy...

Aarrrgh! You sold the flower that I told you I didn't like!!! :biglaugh:
(Before anyone slams me... I told him I liked it, but was not crazy about the color)

Congrats Lyon!

FWIW, my mom prefers the color one as well...

Thanks for the comments everyone!

I like both the color, and the monotone..

The lighting, the reflection, the texture, all come together to make a high quality, professional looking, still life photograph.

That is the kind of image a local gallerist may be interested in having available for sale. A gallery typically gets 40% of the retail price.

Coming from you, that means a TON! Thanks!

Shot in the dark I know, but what would a photo such as this retail at? I have literally no experience at all in that realm. I could/ should certainly look into it...

That would depend on the size of the print, and how it is framed/presented.

At 20x30 and printed as a C-print on Kodak archival E-paper, you should be able to realize a $75 or so profit over your COGS (cost-of-goos-sold), at least.

Wow. That's a lot for someone working minimum wage currently...
Something to think about...

Thanks for the info.
