I may or may not have been half hanging out a tree swaying back and forth to get these annual peach tree blossom shots. I used a (manual focus) lensbaby edge 80 for these to get an artsy/painterly feel.

That 3rd one is my favorite of these. Great color harmony in that first one too! Loved your title for this post. My neighbors think I’m totally insane, especially in early spring but the frozen soap bubble photos in sub zero weather confirmed it.

Thank you!! I have to check out those bubble pics!! :D

The third one is my favorite. Maybe crop the top a little? My neighbor has lots of flowers and flowering bushes & trees. I stroll over there for photos.

A beautiful splash of colours Paige. This brief time and the autumn leaves also are opportunities to celebrate nature!

really neat renders. awesome color.

Flowers? I'm under a foot of snow. Beautiful!

Thanks so much guys!! Yay spring!!!

#3 for me also. I just recently bought a Velvet 56 and can't wait till spring for exactly the reason in your post...blooms!
Let me know how you like it! I have heard great things about it :)

I have it and love it. Got it over the winter so haven't had a chance to use it outside yet but I did give it a go indoors. It takes a bit of practice I think to get the focus and blur that you want: First shots with Lensbaby Velvet 56
