Lest you think I'm joking, I had been waiting for an update to the 80-400mm for about 4 years. Took less than 4 months after I replaced my 15 year old AF-D 80-200mm f/2.8 with the AF-S 70-200mm f/2.8 VRII so I could use the TC-14EII with it for Nikon to announce the AF-S 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6 VRII!
