Illustrator works unstable with files

I created some graphic objects for my .ai file in Adobe Illustrator two days ago. My boss ordered me to finish project in a week. Today I got an issue when I opened Illustrator. These objects disappeared from file. And couple of hours ago adobe illustrator will not open files, I checked some files. I've no idea what happened, I reinstalled it, but it was useless.

Hi, you can also instal older versions of Illustrator. I´d start with that. But the problem might be that you may not be able to open the files created with newer versions (depending on how they are saved). It´s worth a try though.
Do you have some sort of backup? On a mac you can use time machine to go back in time and open a file from an older date when it still worked.
