Probably the fact that the vast majority of the shot, indeed the most prominent portions of the bird, are out of focus. Makes for a very distracting effect.

Now you have two ad-covered sites that you're linking to constantly? You're edging perilously close to being a simple spammer at this point. If you're here exclusively to promote your web sites, you're welcome to become a paid sponsor, but I'm pretty sure that otherwise you're dancing very very close to violating the rules of the forum.

I agree for Mishele's !

It is not an unique moment: they do this many time a day.

I'm afraid I hadn't the choice for the aperture: ISO 1600 (Canon 400D maximum speed), 1/400 f/2.5 with 100mm (160 equivalant). f/4 could be possible but 1) I am a nervous man! 2) The bird was moving a lot

100mm f/2 Canon bokeh is a little bit nervous, I'm agree...
