Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Early morning/Sunrise is the BEST time to take pictures imo...

More to come later,
detailed C&C on these please?
Would be greatly appreciated.

#1 I'm loving. My opinion, it seems a wee bit underexposed, could use a little more contrast and a teeny bit of saturation.......

#2 is better than your others by a long shot, but still seems a little compositionally challenged to me. (not that I have any business talking about composition...) Still don't know where the focus is. Seems the focus is locked on the top of the reflection of the tree line in the water........

What were your settings?

Definite improvement.

#1 is definitely underexposed, wish the blades were a tad bit more lit. Might be able to dodge em a bit.
#2 nicely done again, I like it. It's nothing spectacular, but w/o a doubt much better than earlier shots of yours.

I gotta commend you on self editing yourself and being more picky on what shots to post or not post. It brings your quality images to our attention more, instead of mixed in with 100's of mediocre images.

I really like both of those and have to say you're improving quickly which is awesome.

#1 a little underexposed but pleasant regardless
#2 really like it, very nice capture

yep definitely an improvement. I like #1!

#1 is the kind of scene where infinite, not shallow, DOF could have made a magazine quality photograph.

Thanks guys,
@Strad, I think my camera/myself still has a bit of a focusing problem. I'll aim the little square (someday I'll learn the name for it) at in this case, the boat, with it being the most prominent subject. Half push the shutter button, then oh so very slightly recompose. So in this one, just pointing the camera say 3mm to the right, towards what you would consider the middle of that picture.
I should probably start trying to manually focus on things. It can just be a pain sometimes. You have to move the little box via right and left arrows (>>>>>>^^^^), then hold the MF button, placed very awkwardly on the camera, and use the up and down buttons to adjust the level of focus, on a dime-sized portion of the LCD or viewfinder as a guide.

@Keith, by infinite focus, you mean having the entire image in focus, as opposed to just the foreground? I should probably stop shooting in Macro mode so much if I wanted to accomplish that.

Messed with the exposure a bit.

Also, B&W?

Read your camera user's manual. (Hint: look for 'focus point'.)

Yes. Your version doesn't even have most of the foreground in focus.
I should probably stop shooting in Macro mode so much if I wanted to accomplish that.
Probably, but it depends on the scene background.

IMO, the B&W doesn't work very well.

Curious though, even if it had infinite focus, wouldn't some of the detail and sharpness of the grass be lost?
