I cut the pipe because I felt that showing anything to the right of it would have been distracting and that using the pipe as a frame worked better. I cut off most of it and left the darker side to direct attention back to the interior of the frame. I cut into the dark box in the upper left corner for the same reasons. At least that's my thinking - may not work for everyone.

It turns out I took it with the pipe cut, so I didn't actually have to crop much on that side, but I did crop the boxes. Here is the raw file converted to jpg with the default settings.

Story of 3 pipes going up. Did you see somewhere 2.5 pipes going up ? And then it is natural to see pipe cut across, very seldom cut along. It looks like missed framing and turns out it is.

It's nice. Good eye. I like the color version but mostly because of the rust. You might try including the rust color but desaturating everything else?

I'd also consider a crop or clone out the last vertical pipe. I wish you could have included more of it.
