In the Footsteps of Kings

Taken at Dunadd Hill Fort where old Kings of Scotland and Ireland were crowned at the top. It has been referenced in texts back to 683 and was the capital of the ancient kingdom of Dalriada. At the top there is a footprint in the stone where the kings were crowned.

Some places in this world seem to absorb and record the events that have taken place. What you have captured, to my eye, appear to reflect this absorption. I think that if I walked that place, open up my spirit and soul, that I could feel the coronations of the past speak to me.
