Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Hello everyone,
I have next question about filters. I saw beautiful shots w infrared filters. Objects on the image were pink very bright greens yellows etc but mostly light pink. This person just put a note which camera was used and infrared filter. Can someone pls help me which filter I should buy to get this effect?? And also should I combine this filter with any other one? I tried to look online for answer but it confused me more that help.
Thank you
Marta

One thing you should know is that when shooting with infra red filters, very long exposure times are needed (unless you have a camera specifically meant for IR). Also, the pictures are monochromatic unless you color them in photoshop.

I don't have a wide experience on these filters. I have the Opteka R-72.

You want to buy something like this (in your filter size), or this. Be aware that your exposure times will become VERY long! (Tripod required)

But to get pink color on my picures I'm gonna have to use Photoshop? Right? Ir just gives me black and white image?

This is what a raw IR picture looks like. They are usually converted to black and white or colored with a software.

yes, you will need to convert to black and white, or false color, but it is after the fact. Depending on which camera is used the colors will vary; however this is not as critical with black and white
