Inserting image from url feature not working

When I attempt to insert an image in a post using the image icon, I paste the url, press OK and the process hangs until I cancel it.

Works OK for me. Be sure you uncheck the "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" box:

I haven't been able to get it to work for a while now.
BUT if I go to an image in flickr and "copy image" and just paste here? That works now!

I'm not use with tech help - but those of you having trouble.

1) Post up the browser and version that you're using to surf the net with.

2) Check that your web browser, java, flash etc.. are all up to date (ps I've no idea if any of the latter parts have any effect on the function of the site, but having all components in working up to date order is a good general policy for helping to avoid problems).
