Here is an old photo I took while on a ferry from Skagway to Juneau. I has been converted to b&w and altered in PS.

Nice shot Mike. did you add the grain, is is that "original" to the pic (I assume this is film).

I didn't add the grain, I played with the idea of adding some grain...since it was already kind of grainy though.

Actually, I think the grain comes more from the scan than the film. I scanned this a long time ago so I don't remember exactly.

The PS tweaking brought out the grain and I kind of liked it.

While I usually hate grain it works here for some reason. Maybe because it doesn't cover the whole frame.
