Yep looks like great light. I like the movement of the grass....shoots the eye right up to the lighthouse...nice one! I keep thinking the lighthouse may be tilted though?

Looks lovely. I agree--the movement of the grasses is evident, and helps the shot. To me, the absolutely lovely rim-lighting on those heads of Queen Anne's Lace at the bottom of the frame, seen against the black areas, are just super-killer! The alternating dark-light-dark-light of the undulating ground-scape is very visually rewarding, and makes the eye work "back". But, again, the BOTTOM EDGE of the frame is where this composition starts!!! And it starts with a SOLID foundation that goes from edge-to-edge!

Agreed, it was pretty nice light on the grass.

The sloping bluff gives that illusion. In this image inparticular I was fortunate enough to have 2 references for level (since this was handheld). Both the straight line from the top of the lighthouse and the smaller roof line are horizontal/vertical.
