I really like the last two. With the first one I am sort of wondering what I am meant to be looking at. Also I think those last two would also look great in black and white!

The first shot, for me anyway, seems like its more about the tree in the middle more so than the house, I'd probably have shot from beside that tree to get a better view of the house. The second shot is nice and I absolutely love the last shot, it has a great atmosphere to it.

I love the first two! For the third one, I wish the train was a bit closer, but at the same time I like the anticipation of it in the distance.

I wish the train were just a little bit closer, too. The Land Camera has a fairly wide lens and in the viewfinder, the train looked much closer. It was slowing down to come into the station so I had time to wait for it, and I didn't hit the shutter until it was towards the bottom of the viewfinder, but it still came out looking farther away than I'd anticipated. But I'm still happy with how it came out overall.

I had one more shot in the pack and was hoping that some passengers would come off the train, but it stopped with just the last two cars in view and they weren't opening those doors.

The first shot was actually framed a bit further to the right, so that tree in the middle would not have been centered. I was trying to get that bit of dirty snow on the bottom left out of the frame. I thought I was far enough away to deal with any parallax (the Land Camera has separate range finder and view finder windows) but apparently I wasn't. I might do a little cropping.

Oh my god, I remember those! Almost all of our pictures were mounted on cards like that. My father thought it would help them survive longer, or made the pictures look fancier or something We never sent them anywhere, though.

Great shots! I have an old polaroid land camera, I think it's in fine condition and still in its original case with some lights and filters. I've never really done much with it though since I know very little about them

I like getting postcards that aren't pictures, but rather drawings or prints from local painters, or old art-deco posters advertising local events. I think it's an interesting way to collect art. I keep meaning to put collages together, or putting the really nice ones in frames, but so far they're kept in a box. A very nice box, but still a box

Seriously, it's not hard and the peel-apart Fujifilm 100C is readily available and very very lovely.
