Insufficient image dimensions

I am trying to upload my images onto a website but everytime i do i get a message saying that i have insufficient image dimensions.I dont undertand how this could be with every image i try.Any idea how to correct this.

Are you sure the message says 'insufficient image dimensions' and not that the image you're trying to upload is too big?
