Does anyone have stand alone insurance on there equipment? I can do a rider on homeowners but the deductible is seems high compared to what is being insured.
Just wonder what others do and companies that might be used?

Progressive Ins., which is what I use has "electronic device insurance". Very reasonable.

Hey, I switched from a homeowner’s rider to stand-alone gear insurance, and it’s way better. Check out PPA (Professional Photographers of America) or Hill & Usher’s Package Choice—both have great coverage for photographers with lower deductibles. For hobbyists, TCP Insurance is a solid, budget-friendly option.
