There is a Kodak V530, that has been dropped. though I have little knowledge with what exactly happened to the thing besides it was dropped...\

would anyone care to either tell me how the lens is mounted to that body and/or providing a scamatic of the camera and how everything is put together.

I would doubt though, that anyone has schematics of your camera laying around. Have you tried google?

What exactly went wrong after the drop?

apparently the lens popped off, not completely though so there still may be an option to put it back in place. however I havn't seen it yet.
