Yep. Plastic straws are already being banned from restaurants in some Californian communities and a statewide ban may happen within a year. Recently, we, (wife and I), have substituted reusable bamboo plates and metal utensils, as a replacement for plastic, when we picnic. We use stainless steel wines glasses instead of plastic. We picnic often. (We don't use straws.)

My but isn't that some happy talk.
A bit over 6 hours. Built an office chair.
Repaired a goofy grill to replace the one sold yesterday. Cleaned up after the milk man who made quite a mess. Having (and enjoying) chicken tenders down at the deli.
Sold my box of pennies to Susan.
Have some groceries to take home.

I hate straws, I miss often and they go up my nose or I put one in and tilt the glass but my big belly catches it so it don't look like I pee'd my pants. The only good thing about straws is blowing the wrapper at someone. Can't take me anywhere.
