Well my trip to Nova Scotia has been post poned until tommorow and good thing because I recieved a call from a local camera shop telling me my hoya R72 IR filter had arrived :smileys:

This is my very first IR shot

Individual channels level adjusted.

Just Red channel

man am I ever going to have fun with this

Awesome! Love the first pic, just a touch of color to add to the scene! Congrats on your IR filter. Now I'm a newb, but is this filter something you put on your flash? Or is this an entire lens?

Thanks guys, omeletteman Im heading to Antigonish for my job probably won't have a chance to get anywhere else.

Matty-Bass the filter just screws onto the end of the lens blocking almost all light except for the near infra red.

What got me hooked on IR was Simon Marsdens "the Journal of a Ghosthunter." ... seek it out .... Read it ... love it ...

One day I may be brave enough to run a rill through my EOS 10.
